Top Five Most Arrogant Reasons I Blog
Posted By Daisy on September 17, 2010
It’s the last day of the B2B challenge. The SITStahs want to hear why it is that we blog. There are the warm fuzzy reasons, like a sense of belonging (SITStahood) and a record of memories, but I thought it would be fun to put out there some of my less noble motivations. Here goes, in reverse order of obnoxiousness:
5. The more I become hip to the lingo of the interweb, the less I feel like the forty-something mom that I am, with dirty hair and a daytime wardrobe that is almost indistinguishable from pajamas.
4. I blog to test the depths of my connections with friends and family. Note to friends and family: read or perish.
3. I actually believe that I will become a Writer (capital “W”) one day, and blogging is good practice.
2. I can’t be a minister because I don’t believe in a deity, but I have always wanted my very own flock. If I build a readership, I will have my flock.
1. I like to hear myself talk, because I really and truly think I am just that interesting.
What about you? Can you beat these? ’Fess up!!

Happy SITS Saturday! I love the title of this post. It’s true for me – & probably many of us – that blogging is as much for the writer as anything else.
